What an absolutely wild and unanticipated experience - Great and imaginative cocktails with twists. I will say, the exterior of this cocktail bar is VERY strange. Located in what looks like abandoned and gated truck yard, the unassuming bar is lit with a blue neon sign and marked with a wooden door. Upon entering, you’ll find a very eclectic, low lit, intimate bar with back-lit menus and a variety of lounge music playing. The menu is also VERY unique. Descriptions that tell you some ingredient, but only leave you more intrigued / confused. Expect to pay about $18 for the “basic” cocktails and $30-35 for the “experience” cocktails. Well worth the price as these are some of the best I’ve had in my experience with higher end and creative cocktail bars. The Candy Paint was delicious, rum forward, not too sweet and came with a … cinnamon stick. If you know you know. Would recommend even if you discard the cinnamon. The Ceviche was an edible non-meat ceviche like mix of fruits, jelly, and others to make a cocktail “food” item, served with plantains for eating. One of the most unique cocktails I’ve ever had, and certainly memorable, although I am not sure that I’d order again as it was a bit too food forward. Also pictured was the Luau which was NOT like a traditional tiki cocktail. It was smoky and rich and a bit spicy, with a somewhat sweet foam and served with a shortbread cookie. Would recommend if you like smoke and spice. The Espresso martini (not pictured) was clarified, and very very good. TIP - The bathrooms also have Toto Japanese style bidet toilets which are lovely and heated. Excellent bathrooms. Overall, if you enjoy high end cocktail experiences, this might be the best in Houston!

Definitely a one of kind experience! Drinks are so thoughtful, complex and delicious. Presentation is fantastic. Service was great. Everything was wonderful. We stuck with a lot of the Indulgent drinks but I can’t wait to come back and try more of their standard cocktails as well.

Diversion Cocktails was recommended by a friend, and I decided to visit the bar with my significant other. The ambiance was dark, and the wood was in a darker color. It was very much giving dark academia vibes~ Their bar was open and large for everyone to view the bartenders make the beverages. The top shelves were lined with Erlenmeyer flasks, and they also had a rotary evaporator. I think this shows that there is a lot of science behind the drinks they are making, and they go beyond the norm. I ordered the District 5, which consisted of cachaca, coconut milk, ube, whole egg, and strawberry. I also got the T. Y. Munson, which contained cognac, bourbon, apple, absinthe, caramelized tea, cherry bar, and grapes. The District 5 came with small popping bubbles, and it was a fun drink and was coconuty. The T. Y. Munson was on the “Indulgence” side of the menu and was pricier and was an experience. It was smoked and came with a bunch of grapes. Both drinks were strong, so if you’re a lighweight like me, this will be the bang for your buck! Overall, I think the bar is unique and a perfect place for an intimate date or for you to experience drinks made by people who know the craft well!

What a unique experience! Perfect place for a date in Houston - have to reserve though. Place is small and seats are limited. Atmosphere is speakeasy-ish and rel private. Their Indulgence cocktails are all crazy, expensive but def worth trying! I had the Pho cup’d, which is burning gin poured into a bowl of Pho. Yes you read it right. And then you eat your cocktail with a spoon. Also the Backyard Bounty, which is a cocktail with a frozen lollipop was special. Drinks are good but the experience tops it!

Hear me out... yes it has a big price tag, but it's so worth it! The drinks are experimental and different, but they work well. The food... all I had were the duck dumplings and they were devine. The sauce of sweet chilli and a hint of lemongrass was paired perfectly. We saw this place as we were visiting from Australia, told it was a "site to visit", and I have no reservations in recommending this to anyone who would like a high end cocktail and appetiser experience. 10/10 across the board.

This is definitely a hidden gem in the city right now. If you're not paying attention, you'll drive right past it. But inside is really really nice. They have nice little curtains in between the tables so you get some privacy but you still feel like you're in the mix of things. The bar and drinks are very good. The only knock are the food options. There aren't many and the ones they have are quite expensive. But still...this is a great place to add to your list, especially if you're trying to impress your date.

Must try if you are a cocktail lover! Their specialty cocktails are not cheap, NGL. $35 per a glass. But it’s definitely worth to try. Nice presentation and such a cozy place. Cajun shrimps are good to pair with.

I recently visited this cute cocktail bar with my friends on a Saturday night, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. Having been here twice before, I can confidently say that this place never disappoints. If you plan to visit, I highly recommend making a reservation. The overall vibe is remarkably chill, providing the perfect ambiance for a relaxed evening. Unlike many other establishments, the music here is set at the perfect volume - not overly loud - allowing us to have enjoyable conversations without the need to shout over each other. Our cocktail waitress was great; she was attentive and had an in-depth understanding of the menu. She was more than happy to offer recommendations and even helped me craft a custom drink since I had given up alcohol. The service was prompt, and our drinks arrived surprisingly quickly. While I couldn't snap a picture of my custom creation, my friend captured "The Luau." This tropical delight definitely gave her island vibes, and she couldn't stop raving about how delicious it was. The bar's cozy and inviting ambiance makes it an ideal spot for a date-night or a gathering with close friends. The staff's dedication to their craft and the overall experience sets this place apart from the rest.
